The Moose SMP is a server like no other. The Moose SMP is a lore based SMP server; however, on this server you will be able to join in on the adventures. On the Moose SMP Server, your only limitation is your own imagination. As a player, you get to play alongside the Main Cast as they embark on the adventures that alter and create the Main Storyline.

The Main Storyline is the lore of the whole server and changes the course that the server takes. This storyline changes how the entire server is played and affects everyone.

The Sub-Cast will aid in the server by taking up responsibilities that are required to keep the server running. These responsibilities may include anything like being a mayor, being a king, being a head merchant, etc.

The best part about the Moose SMP is that you, as the Player, will be able to become any of the things mentioned above and more. That’s right! You the Player can become a member of the Main Cast if you play your cards right. You can either work as a premade occupation or create your own. You can be a wealthy merchant, a daring explorer, a cunning thief, a noble king, a deadly warrior, or anything else that you can think of! The Moose SMP allows free reign to do nearly anything that you can come up with.

The idea of the Moose SMP will accomplish something that no other server has done before. And that is to recreate a REAL-LIFE community, INSIDE of Minecraft. The Moose SMP attempts to create a working social RPG environment where you can forge a whole new life, inside of the game. You not only get to forge your own destiny in a real community with real players, but you get to do so alongside the Main Cast.

The Main Cast will consist of YouTubers, Streamers, and Content Creators of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. You get to live with them as they continue to pursue their quests, and you will be able to either help or hinder their efforts in several different ways. All you need to join the Moose SMP is a Minecraft Account. The Moose SMP is only for the Java edition of Minecraft. The Moose SMP is open to the Public, but has special roles such as Cast, Subcast, Player Roles, and Staff.

In order to join the server, just go to your Minecraft Multiplayer Menu and then add a new server and type in the IP Address, play.mrfishermooser.com.

The Cast of the Moose SMP are players who have applied or have been chosen for the position of Cast Member. Cast Members are the players that follow the Main Storyline of the server and progress as the story unfolds. They receive no extra in-game benefits other than the trust of the server Administration to then be allowed to build/access different claims.

In order to become a Cast Member, you either have to apply or be chosen for the position. These applications are usually open at the beginning of each season and are closed before it starts. The Cast Members receive training/debriefing on how the server works and their role on the Moose SMP. They are given partial scripts and may even have "practice", depending on the lore-event.

The Subcast are players who either apply or get chosen for the position. They are support characters that aid the Main Cast in completing the Main Storyline. They are not held as high as the Cast, but are just as important. They have responsibilities like the Main Cast and Staff Team, but have more freedom to also play the game as Players. Subcast Members are usually players of a high social status in the server such as: mayors, commanders, managers, lords, guild masters, etc.

You become a Subcast Member by either applying or being chosen. Subcast Members are expected and/or chosen before and during each Season.

Players on the Moose SMP have the opportunity to obtain some pre-made roles, and then even create their own. The pre-made roles include: Player, Cadet, Military Police, Garrison Regiment, Vanguard Regiment, King, and Outcast. Each of these roles are manually given to Players that have chosen that path and that meet the criteria.

The Staff on the Moose SMP play an important part in maintaining the server's functionality, as well as the community's  moral. The Staff will not be playing the server as if they are just another Player. Their main priority and focus is on keeping the server fun for everyone. This may include: punishing players that break the rules, listening to feedback from the community and using that input to create updates for the server, bug fixing/testing, etc.

On the Moose SMP, there are three custom ranks (VIP, MVP, LEGEND). All of the ranks have different perks and are subject to change as the server grows. As the server and lore progresses, so will the ranks grow in perks and benefits.

There are TWO different types of authority on the Moose SMP. There is, "Server Authority," and, "Lore Authority."

-Server Authority uses rules to tell the players what is and what is not allowed on the server of the Moose SMP. The Staff Team will punish players who break the rules with either warns, kicks, mutes, or bans. Rules are not allowed by the server to be broken. If you break any rule on the server, you may wind up being muted or even banned from the server for an indefinite amount of time.

-Lore Authority uses laws to dictate what the players within a given jurisdiction are allowed to do inside that jurisdiction. Kings, Militaries, Mayors, etc, will create their own laws for their jurisdiction and then also create the punishments. Laws are allowed by the server to be broken, but if you are caught by the leader of the area you are in, then you must face them for the punishment for your crime.

Players on the Moose SMP are allowed to do anything they can think of, as long as it complies with the Server Rules. Players are not required to follow laws; however, the consequences of being caught may be far worse than you bargained for. Players have the freedom to make that decision, but they are also responsible to live with that decision and it's consequences.

The Moose SMP has many ways that a player can live. Kingdom life on the Moose SMP may vary greatly, depending on the Kingdom that you are residing in. The Main Kingdom of the Moose SMP is the Moosenpire. 

-Kingdom life offers the players protection from mobs, thieves, assassins, etc; while also giving the players a community where they can make friends and climb the social rankings.

-Life outside of a kingdom is lawless, anything goes. You are not tied down by the regulations or registrations of Kingdom life; however, you also do not have the protection of the Kingdom's Military either. Be careful who you decide to trust!

Two of the biggest games in the world, as well as the history of gaming, are Minecraft and DnD. What makes these two games so popular? They both have an unlimited amount of possibilities for the players to come up with.

On the Moose SMP, you get the Sandbox feature of Minecraft; while also combining it with the social rpg factors of DnD. As both Players and Cast Members are playing our beloved Survival Minecraft, they are also facing challenges, bosses, quests, dungeons, etc, from the infamous DnD style of rpg.

The Moose SMP is what I believe to be the best TRUE form of MMORPG. Where you are not just playing an rpg with other players in the same server, but you are actually playing WITH other players. Creating groups, friendships, armies, kingdoms, guilds, syndicates, whatever you can dream of, you can do here.
